I really struggle with holding back a bit for more simplistic cards. I tend to like a lot of layers and embellishments. For my card, I turned to the Dots & Designs Rub-on's for both the focal point and patterns.
Some tips for this card:
- I use the same process for rub-ons that I do for Decor Elements. Basically this means that I rub the image while it is still attached to the backing sheet before applying it to the card stock. I also carefully peel the transfer sheet away from the rub-on at an angle to allow for an easier transfer.
- I used a 2" square piece of a window sheet for applying the flower image. A slightly smaller piece of Very Vanilla was placed behind it to make it pop. I used some vintage brads to attach the window sheet so that I would not have any adhesive showing through.
