Our friends' little girl is turning one this weekend and this is the card I came up with for her. She is very girly-girl so purple and pink immediately came to mind!
Here are some tips:
- I pretty much followed the sketch to a "T". The only variation was the tab just below the circle. I don't have the curly label punch, so to create a similar look, I ran some card stock through my big shot with one of the frames on the Matchbox Bigz XL die.
- A little texture was added to the whisper white panel using a polka dot embossing folder and the big shot. To create the curve, I simply traced the edge of a container on the backside and snipped it out.
- Both circles were created using the Circle Scissor Plus.
- A little bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter was used for frosting on the cupcakes.
Well off to finish my hubby's Valentine's day project! Hopefully I will have it ready to post in the next few days!
