Workshop Door Prize

I love to offer a door prize when I demo at in-home workshops. The guests get so excited to have a chance to win something- just for coming!

Tomorrow night I am demonstrating a workshop in my home and this will be the door prize. Interested? If you live in the Spokane area and would like to come email me. This workshop will have a Mystery Hostess. This means that for purchases $40+ you will be entered into a drawing to receive all the hostess benefits for the evening! In case you hadn't heard, a $40 purchase from the Occasions Mini will qualify you for the Get Connected promotion, too!

This door prize offers a lot of WOW with little effort. I took an empty plastic stamp container and adhered a strip of Kiwi Kiss to the bottom. The sentiment and dot border (from Bright Delights) were rubbed directly onto the plastic and card stock.

Using my Big Shot and Scallop Circle die, I cut two scallops. One was through Tangerine Tango, and the other was through a 1/4" thick piece of cork. TIP: the Sizzix steel rule dies can cut through a variety of materials including cork, chipboard, fabric and more! For a list of approved materials click here. I love how much dimension the cork offers, but I also like the color variation from the side (see photo).

The branch and bird are from Cheep Talk. Both were cut out and adhered (the bird was adhered using dimensionals) to the scallop. The two felt flowers are from Flower Fusion in Rose Red. They are adhered using gold mini-brads.

The inside of the door prize box includes brads, ribbon, a stamp, rub-ons (retired set), metal tags (retired), felt flowers, build-a-brad components, chipboard shapes, and two Cherry Blossom embosslit die cuts.

I hope whoever wins this enjoys it!

Happy Stampin'!
Carrie
